DANCES

Dance Policy

Dances are limited to UW students, faculty, and staff and their guests.
  • Attendees must be at least 18 years of age with ID
  • UW students, faculty, and staff must present their university ID and are responsible for any guest that they bring who is not part of the university
  • UW students, faculty, and staff are allowed up to two guests

The Ten Percent Society normally holds between two and four LGBT oriented dances each semester (and we LOVE to have allies come too!). The dances are open to University of Wisconsin students, staff, faculty, and their friends. Most dances are held from 10 PM to 1:45 AM in the Memorial Union, 800 Langdon Street in Madison. There are DJ's and a cash bar. Admission is $5 at the door. Please remember that the University of Wisconsin - Madison campus is smoke-free. Great Hall and Tripp Commons are accessible to people with disabilities. The current dance schedule:
